Wishing Stones : Found & Tumbled
Wishing Stones for Yule and a new year! They’re finally back. A year’s worth of collecting these beauties has replenished the shop for the holiday.
According to lore, a wishing stone is a rock with a distinct line that runs around it, with no breaks. These stones are believed to grant wishes when meditated on. I have a mix of Granite, Unakite, Quartz, Basalt, and more.
I read a few places that the wish only comes true if you gift it to someone else after making your wish. I won’t tell you what to do with your rock, but for the start of a new year, I love the idea of making a big wish. And with so many holidays of gift giving coming up, I love the idea of the wish coming true, only if you share the gift.
And gosh, do I love the idea of one of these ancient beauties that I found in sand and cold water moving along, over and over again, between loved ones’ hands and deepest desires.
