The Beltane Bracelet! I really love doing a year-long craft that shifts with each season. A creative project that’s simple and fun, but full of meaning. My favorite kind. This year, sweet little charms that we can wear!
For Beltane, we’re starting with the “R” in ROYGBIV with Rose and Redbud. Redbud holds a nurturing magick that brings that fresh “love is in the air and everything will be alright” energy.
From its heart-shaped leaves to its heart-healing vibes, I knew Redbud would play well with Rose, of course. Unconditional love, passion and excitement, friendship, emotional healing, Rose shows up as a force of love in all dynamics of our lives.
With a bracelet full of Roses, you can be literally wearing your heart on your sleeve!
Dance of the Roses Balm, for love on the go.
This balm was infused slowly, in no rush. A restful infusion you could say. The nourishing oils and beeswax are full of Rose, Frankincense, Spruce, and Cottonwood.
These plants offer healing and soothing properties for skin, muscles, and joints. They offer love for ourselves and our healing processes. They offer sacred space for the work of rest and recuperation. They are ritual and magic in the mundane.
The Rose grew in my garden, the Cottonwood buds and Spruce resin were wild-harvested in the spring, and the Frankincense traveled many distances and yet still holds the moment of contact with you in reverence, as it relieves tension to open the moment up to a more sensual experience.
I’ve topped the tins with the Camunian Rose symbol. This symbol comes from the northern area of Italy, where it is found carved throughout the terrain.
The carvings date back to the Iron Age (as old as 700 BC!). Archeologists theorize that it was initially a religious solar symbol representing astral movements through the heavens. Over time, the symbol became synonymous with fortune, good luck, and a long prosperous life.
And I leave you with these words by Carrie Newcomer that seemed to echo in my head as I made this ritual balm.

What’s a ritual balm? Of course you can use any of my balms for skin healing, nourishing, and protection. But they have also been crafted to be used in ritual. Apply your balm before quiet times, after bathing, or before rituals to prepare yourself for the moment and invite in that specific energy. You can also use the balms to anoint candles and apply herbs, just like you would a consecrating oil.

This blend has been coming back and back again into our lives over the years and it’s honestly one of my most commented on concoctions.

Peace & Love: Wild Rose Smokes! Plant smoke and smoke magic are so satisfying. You feel enveloped in the moment. It settles around and brushes against. There’s Black Raspberry, ruled by Venus, to call in an abundance of love. Tulsi to show up where it’s needed and wild Violet and Redbud blooms to bring that “spring is in the air, young love, hope and nothing but possibility, feeling” to the smoke. And now there’s Damiana, to stir passions!
They come in premium King Palm leaf wrappers with corn husk filters. Since they’re tipped and rolled in Rose petals, you’ll get a deeper, caramelized flavor at the start. These are beautiful to use in ritual, to unwind with in the evening, to boost love magic and self care time, and to share with those you love.
