Stitched Nests for home magick and spring magick!

Nests are, of course, a strong symbol for Ostara. They represent new beginnings, care, and the home. In fact, they are often used in sympathetic magic as a representation of the home, your sacred space.

This year, I’ve used “The Greening” colored thread to stitch the nest with some of my favorite little natural pieces that I’ve been holding on to. Antler, hag stone, Robin wing, bone, blooms, and little charms of feather and home.

Deer antler: Deer bring grace and flexibility as we maneuver through our days.

Hag stone: Beginning with the Celts, hag stones are used as a stone of protection and divination.

Robin wing: Robins represent new growth, rebirth, and possibilities. They also have a spirit of optimism and contentment, building homes where they can.

Raccoon bone: Raccoon energy has us digging deeper to the core of things and leaving no stone unturned in our quest to uncover and heal.

Tansy blooms: Tansy is used during Ostara for fresh starts, spring rites, and honoring deities of birth.

House & feather charms: These charms are employing sympathetic magick by representing your home in the best of magick.
