Star Thistle Flower Essence for Setting Boundaries.

This is my Star Thistle Flower Essence, for when you just can’t say no and you need to rediscover your right to your own life and choices.

I chose this season’s flower essence based on the hectic holiday days coming up. Star Thistle is for those who have a hard time saying no. They’re kind and helpful, but end up being taken advantage of by others either intentionally or unintentionally. They overtax themselves to be all things to all people. There’s an excessive tendency to devote yourself to others. It’s when caring isn’t balanced with boundaries.

Star Thistle is for those of us who are still working on how to fulfill our own needs in the light of everyone else’s around us. It helps to know that we serve others best by first taking care of our own needs. This essence was made with wild Star Thistle growing on the ancient dunes of northern Michigan. It was infused in the morning sun and charged under August’s Grain Full Moon.

You use essences just as you would a tincture OR you can add essences to baths, watering cans, drinks and cocktails, hydrosols, or even dishes to add some extra flower magick to your day.
