Lilac Flower Essence for letting go. If you find yourself trying to control situations, clinging to a past that no longer serves you, or attaching yourself to a certain person, outcome, or way of being- this essence may be for you.

There’s more than one right way. Lilac helps us let go. To be flexible and to have confidence in the knowing that we’ve done what we need to do. It relieves us of the judgement that we put on ourselves when things don’t go as we planned. It helps us adapt and relax into the joy of just being in this world.

I read this amazing book Station Eleven and a woman in it would end her day looking in the mirror. She would say to herself, “I regret nothing.” Oh, what a revelation and relief! Personally, I adore this essence and using it to help me move through my own rigid and controlling aspects.

Following in the tradition of Edward Bach, my flower essences have never been touched by anyone’s hands or any other tool that could influence its energy. Blooms are harvested when the morning dew is still on them and are set out in the sunshine in spring water to imbibe their energy.

These blooms were infused in my mother’s china (a prized possession of mine). Amethyst joins Lilac here to lend its ability to help us break bad habits, find our calm acceptance of the way things are, and to trust our intuition. It was also infused on Venus’ brightest night of the year to bring feminine power to our releasing.

You use essences just as you would a tincture OR you can add essences to baths, watering cans, drinks and cocktails, hydrosols, or even dishes to add some extra flower magick to your day.
