Freya, the Perfume

Introducing the luscious perfume, Freya. The Norse’s first teacher of witchcraft, Freya is a complex goddess of both love and fertility, as well as, battle and death (all appropriate when it comes to relationships!) There’s no better fitting name or namesake for this perfume.

It’s floral, but it’s not. It’s woodsy, but it’s not. It’s crisp, but it’s also kind of round. It’s complex and sultry and it lingers. This heady scent begins with Ylang Ylang. I don’t work a lot with florals, but Ylang Ylang is one I make an exception for. It’s an aphrodisiac scent, but it’s also just it’s own thing. It’s a deep, musky, fruity-vanilla like floral. The kind you feel down your spine. It kind of sways and it kind of stomps.

It’s joined by the spicier earthy scent of Cardamom, used in old days as a powerful aphrodisiac. Cardamom is like the “come hither” energy. It’s balanced out with refreshing Balsam Fir. This was the inspiration point for me. The Balsam makes the whole thing just a little off of what you expect. I like that in a person, situation, and scent.

Your perfume comes in a little perfume bottle that is actually a roll-on in a base of gorgeous Rosehip Seed Oil. The bottle is energized by Rose Quartz for love, Amber to honor Freya, and a shiny gold star… for you!
