Fossil Garden : Found & Lightly Tumbled

Fossil Garden! Mineral magic in the form of ancient fossilized creatures! These rocks are full of little fossils, crinoids, and Sea Lilies, and are known commonly as “Fossil Soup”, but for us green witches, I prefer Fossil Garden.

They were made when organic matter was compressed into stone through weather, pressure, and time. Most are created when the biological material of a plant or living thing is replaced by Chalcedony or other minerals over time. The mineral then takes the form, preserving the imprint. The fossils from this area are most likely 350 million years old. Older than the dinosaurs!

Fossil Garden rocks are a beautiful energy to work with for divination, dreamwork, and ancestral healing. They are useful when needing strength and resiliency. Like peering into a crystal ball or tea leaves, use these little gardens to find images that speak messages to you.

Fossils represent the cycle of life, time, evolution, and change. Because of their link to the past, they are used in past life work, ancestral healing, and in the release of old paradigms. They have been used across time and cultures to strengthen telepathy and clairvoyance, to aid in astral travel, and to connect to ancient ways. They are also used as talismans for protection.
