Forsythia Flower Essence for Hope and Transformation.

For all of you Forsythia lovers out there, Forsythia Flower Essence! It feels time to let go of some things. Time to stretch up into the abundant sunlight begging to fall over us.

At the Solstice, I love to use and honor Forsythia. The yellow blooms have topped candles, infused honey, and provided us with this flower essence that ushers us forward with its joy, trust, and change.

The joyfully yellow Forsythia helps us break addictions and patterns that never helped. It is a catalyst for change to help us rid ourselves of outgrown, rigid thinking. It offers us an optimistic momentum during our transformation efforts.

In the Victorian Language of Flowers, Forsythia is a symbol of anticipation. That feeling that something good is coming. We see the blooms before the rest of the world has opened up into summer. They are a herald to us that it is ok to trust that inkling of joy and to trust our intuition. To trust ourselves that change is really on its way and we can change for the good with it. It is hope.

This essence was joined by Citrine (for deep-in-your-gut joy), Shiva Stone (for aligning the dualities within ourselves), and fossilized clam (for rejuvenation and motivation). The final essence is sunshine and forward movement.

You use essences just as you would a tincture OR you can add essences to baths, watering cans, drinks and cocktails, hydrosols, or even dishes to add some extra flower magick to your day.
