Freya’s Blush Mask. Hibiscus, Orchid, & Purple Clay.
Freya’s Blush with Hibiscus, Rose, Orchid, and Purple Clay.
We start with Brazilian Purple Clay, which is a type of Kaolin clay. That means it’s wonderful for smoothing and purifying, while still being gentle enough for dry skin. The purple color comes from all the Magnesium in it!
The star of this magickal mask is one of Freya’s flowers, Hibiscus. This voluptuous flower is an aphrodisiac and is used in love and sexual magick, most often regarding passions. It allows space for freedom of expression and independence.
It’s a complicated flower, like Freya, bringing seemingly contradicting energy. Being from the Marshmallow family, it brings the sensitive aspect of water. However, it’s association with Freya and passion, shows us that it can also show up with the passionate energy of fire. Inviting, joyful, confident, and a catalyst for change in your passions.
It’s joined by Rose petal powder, which is amazing for your skin, and offers ancient love energy.
Orchid, associated with the likes of Venus, Bacchus, and Freya, holds love magick and helps with communicating. I’ve added two kinds of Orchid: Korean Orchid Oil for moisturizing, plumping, and soothing dry skin and dried Orchid blooms from my very own plant. I also just learned you can save and use the dried hollow tube that holds the bloom as a love talisman. I’ll be saving those from now on!
Freya’s Blush will be available on its own, and in a set with the special mask bowl for the season. A darling, pink bloom, edged with Freya’s gold will be joined by a Mother of Pearl spoon for bringing calm and balance.
