Dryad! This last scent for the year has actually been a cult favorite around here for a few years, even though it’s gone through name changes- like it’s about to now!

Last year I realized that selling this as a solid cologne for men was ridiculous since I wear it all the time. And I realized that obviously it could be gender neutral. And that felt good and right. After delving into all of these goddesses this year, I realized that any scent is gender neutral, just like any color is gender neutral and that I was being shortsighted by just celebrating this one in that way. So let’s just all agree that anyone can wear whatever the hell they want!

Introducing DRYAD, inspired by those Greek nymphs that dwell in the trees, especially Oak, which felt appropriate for Acorn Moon.

Think of an forest grove where you set up a picnic, surrounded by those you love, with sweet treats, like brown sugar cake and chocolate chip cookies. Someone picks Pine needles for a tea later and someone else collects drippy resin off a nearby Spruce. That’s the sweet spot of this solid cologne.

Nourishing, full of plants, and absolutely no fragrance oils. The way I feel about cologne is that it should not telegraph your arrival. It should be one of those things that happens when someone leans in and says, “Mmm, you smell good.”

This cologne is full of White Fir and Cedar wood. There’s Douglas Fir, White Pine, Spruce, and Scotch Pine resin. There’s Sarsaparilla root and the ever most amazing Tonka Beans. There’s Cocoa Bean and Frankincense resin. There’s essential oils of Sandalwood and Black Spruce with a touch of Tangerine and Vanilla to soften the edges. Luscious! I’m particularly in love with the specks of Tonka and Cocoa Bean that swirl throughout.
