Aphrodite, the Perfume

“Your skin smells lovely like sandalwood

The scent for the season is named after the goddess of love and beauty herself, Aphrodite. It starts with Rose, tempered by a healthy amount of Sandalwood. And this song was running through my head the whole time I was creating it.

Rose is a classic for a reason. It brings its powerful love energy to all of your magick and greets you from the start.  Sandalwood adds a grounding energy to the perfume that lingers. Treasured for millennia and used by the Egyptians during their sacred rites, Sandalwood is said to bring you closer to the Divine. It has been traditionally used for great moments of transformation.

Frankincense and Patchouli round out the scent with a dash of the holy and wild. Frankincense brings us into a profound state of calm that opens us up for new experiences and perspectives. Patchouli is a grounding scent of action that helps build our self-confidence.

The roller is topped with a little Red Jasper. This stone invigorates the libido and energizes and cleanses the sacral chakra. There’s also some Rose Quartz and Frankincense resin dropped into the Rosehip Oil. The Frankincense falls slowly and I like that.
